Detailed Problem Description

1. Getting "This Parameter is of type"Date" and the correct format is "mm/dd/yyyy" where "yyyy" is the four digit year,"mm" is the month(e.g. January " 1), and "dd" is the day of the month" warning message while entering the dates in the Date prompt in BI Launchpad.
2. BI - date issue with parameter field. In dev modifying OSA180 to run by optional date range. When we run by date it works fine locally but when we run it on the server it says the date is in the wrong format.

Solution Analysis and Recommendations

1. Need to check the date prompt options in the designer.
2. Need to change options if required.

Resolution

1. Need to schedule the report with Start Date and End Date values and then if we try to change the dates it will work.
OR
2. Need to click on “Apply” button first in the viewer and then if we change the date values it will work fine.
